Physics

     The Department of Physics has been actively functioning since 1992 and is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The department offers the UG programme only and is one of the core subjects in the mathematics group leading to B.Sc. degree. The syllabus is framed by S.G.B. Amravati University as per the UGC guidelines for Semester Systems.
Computer Science was introduced as an optional subject in science stream from the session 2000-2001 .
Currently the department has modern equipment’s for experiments and a good core library consisting of about 25 titles. The computers of the department are connected to Broad Band/wifi Internet. The department is presently headed by Dr. S. B. Unhale. This Department is known for inculcating good scientific culture, educational values, maintenance of discipline so as to make them competent for learning and teaching activities.
